Last night, Draco and I slept together. No sex, just cuddling, wrapped in each other’s arms. Inhaling his scent and feeling his heartbeat against mine, we were fully-clothed, loving with an undying innocence. Often, it slipped into my mind to take things on to another level, but it scared me what that could have meant. So I’d make love to him with the way my fingers would lock and unlock with his, gentle kisses on the cheek and forehead, and a whole load of hugging. His body, all skinny and smooth, felt so fragile. His eyes, filled with both innocence and subconscious seduction would gaze into mine. 

Tomorrow is my 18th birthday.

Today, I got a letter from Malfoy saying, “Meet me at midnight”. I smiled and wonder how I’d unwrap my present.
